Theseus` fucking Honda i suppose
Where does it bolt into???

What are the bikes used in 15:33 ??
I love the show and I have been looking forward to an episode on airbags but this one bummed me out. It felt more like an ad for Alpinestars than a serious detailed discussion on airbags and their differences. I’m not sure if that is because Revzilla currently has a sale on Astar airbags or not. Helite got little mention when they are a huge player in the scene. I just bought my Helite electronic backpack from you guys because to me it was the best option available. I wish you guys had more detailed discussions about the differences in options. On one hand Pat mentioned that he doesn’t have an airbag because they are too hot while ignoring the benefits that the Helite options have in that regard. The turtle 2 is worn outside of your jacket in a pretty loose manner so it will allow more airflow than a tech air under your jacket. Also the backpack is the best of the bunch for airflow. It has a little less coverage but you can get a lot more comfort. Also the electronic versions were dismissed outright with no explanation. Without a fork sensor the 15mph engagement speed is a good trade off for accidental deployments. I’m more likely to use an electronic airbag than a tethered one so for me it’s better to have more protection over 15mph than not.
I feel like the lack of a nuanced discussion about the benefits and drawbacks of available options may have hurt airbag adoption amongst your listeners. How much are replacement cartridges? How many times can it be deployed? Which models are worn under a jacket or over a jacket? Is there a difference in comfort and breath ability in under vs. over?Which models have what coverage? Personally I wouldn’t wear an Alpinestars airbag because it’s too hot in SoCal but Helite has good options for more airflow and they also have more coverage.
Having owned a 2007 Scrambler with the lime green tank and a 2008 and 2010 Bonnie, the 865cc Triumphs are great, would fully recommend.
My question is! Is the off road one & the rest of the airbags. Using the same algorithm system, for changing settings to ride in the streets etc.. or is there a difference between picking one. I don’t know if I’m explaining myself. I ride on the street but I think I like that the off-road one gives you a lot more protection.
The work you have done on that bike is incredibly impressive but I wouldn't call it a classic bike now. Classic collectors want factory standard restorations.
So like Shoei with the Neotec 3, the US is getting screwed. Very disappointing.
I'm from Canada, not allowed to enter. Great job on the restoration.
I miss the old reviews... I prefer some information with my information.
"You don't need a shift panel on the right side, you only need one on the left side." Really Spurge? Go ask your buddy Zitto why someone might need a shift panel on their right boot. I bet he'll have an answer for you... I've seen his instagram. : )
Ninja 500 2024 vs zx4rr 2024?
Get a Harley, they’re like Hondas, but for men
I have been riding with this jacket and pants combo since the fall of '23. Sizing is as the guys at Revzilla say, go down 1 on the jacket and I also went down 1 on the pants. For reference, I typically wear large Klim, XL Revit, 56 Dainese and 52 in Rukka. The temp ranges I put this kit through are from mid-20s to as high as 88F. When it's cold I use the Rukka Down X and it's comfy at those colder temps, I didn't notice the D3O as it remains flexible at colder temps. Once the temps pass mid-70s, the faults become apparent. Look at all those vents! I mean look at all those vents that don't allow any significant amount of airflow, even at highway speeds 75F or hotter and I was very uncomfortable due to lack of airflow. I can't imagine using this kit offroad working up a sweat but only going 20mph. I just bought the Airgobi for the really hot days, but I'd like to see a better-vented ADV jacket from Rukka that could extend into the hotter months.
Spurg looking like the best, well behaved and rehearsed Revzilla model in history, good job Spurg!
I hope they update the tech air 5 to the dual chamber.
Yeah you just need $150,000 in tools, labor, machines, and land. A complete restoration could be yours! Look at how much they've saved us!
i REALLY dont want to pull the wiring harness for my 84 goldwing...
Is this the one that isn't going to be an unreliable ripoff?
bros huge
I am subscribed to Revzilla but most of your videos don't appear in the Subscriptions tab on RUclips. The last Revzilla upload to appear on the Subscriptions page was the "How to Modernize a Vintage Motorcycle | The Shop Manual" video. It appears that RUclips is hiding your channel, Revzilla. If your videos don't appear on the Subscriptions page, I have no idea they exist!
Do a comparison to the old ninja 500 though.
Such a great call out, challenging Spurg to snap it in one go lol.
I crashed my bike yesterday, I was going to fast, I was not able to take curb at that speed, the bike went down and it's probably totalled! MY FAULT...
I just rode a 1913 Harley with 50 yr old tires, no problems whatsoever 😊
Every fucking thing needs a data collecting, privacy destroying piece of shit app nowadays.
Alpinestars needs to chill on their pricing, not paying $1,000+
That's actually a very reasonable price for a system of that level of tech and complexity.
You are getting 2 canisters & 4 deployments & potentially even more if you decide to keep using it without sending it! & your life probably being saved at some unknown moment.
If you want a cheaper airbag, get a mechanical Helite Turtle 2. New canisters are a lot cheaper as well. Back protection goes really low like this one, but the back protector doesn’t go down to the lowest point so you can sit comfortably upright. Compared to the A* it misses the collarbone protection, but it helps you neck from overextending, and the side protection is much lower so it should also protect the hips. And also great is that it has a much larger air volume, so it’s a lot thicker protection when deployed.
Nearly $7.00 a gal for gas? OMG! How does anyone afford that?
Oh my God it really beautiful 😍
Carbureted bike owners 🖐🏼
This specific model with that colour is my dream bike. I can never get it out of my mind.
That's somehow really showing and matter seems so realistic at that video quality. I would be intrested what kind of camera was used at 7:00 to 10:20.
Gotta love vintage bikes, i just got done getting my 1978 sohc honda cb750 SS back on the road after 13 years.
I had a 1981 CB750. Rebuilt the brakes calipers, MC, full suspension rebuild, and got it running great. In the end, it was still heavy, with only mediocre braking. I realized that I'd be better off with a newer bike for the same money.
Been riding with mine on the street since I got it at the CotA launch. Comfortable under most of my jackets after I removed the back and shoulder pads. Doesn’t fit under my race suit though since my chest is too big. Kind of annoyed that A* hasn’t released any compatible jackets yet
What are the model names of jackets that the 7x is comfortable under? Does the long back(tail) of the airbag bother you when siting on the bike?
@@antoniomatic7572 I have a Revit Sand 4 jacket and a Street and Steel riding shirt. I do have a bit of a hunchback according to my friends but whatever. The tail does poke down a bit below my jacket but for me it goes just below the top of my butt crack. My bike is on the sportier side (vs upright or reclined) so I don’t end up sitting on it at all
@@BenYarmis Thank you for the answer!
I hope I have this bike
It's a storage issue for sure, having expirience with cars and bikes. Had 6years old winter goodyears on my VW Golf and the back end broke out very soon eventhough they had plenty of profile, the tyres were 195 65 15inch with plenty side wall, but still they felt hard.. Then had 10year old summer Bridgestone om my MB W212 , made 25tousands Km with them, drove above 260km/h never had a traction issue. Now have Michelins on my Honda Interceptor (12years old) really punching them in corners and straight, or Autobahn cornering 270km/h... Feels just good...no issues. Just inspect your tyres for cracks and keep right tyre pressure and if you still dont trust them do a warm--up round find an open space and lean in to it while driving slowly see how she feels, otherwise replace it.
Black and yellow would be nice.
Drool .. wish you'd allow Transatlantic cousins to enter the draw!
i have a stock tires of my honda cruiser vt750 2002 that means over 20 years old .. i am still running on them !!!
It’s a fast versys
Would like to win that restored bike. I have a 2022 Honda CT 125, but it's smaller than I should really ride. It's 205 lbs and I'm 280 lbs
Quick question, why not just get the LED headlight with integrated turn signal in them?
I like the warmer color temp of halogen. Didn't feel like the cool/sharp light of an LED would suit the bike.
This was actually supremely helpful, thank you.
Wow this is my 5th helmet after 6 years of riding and it's the first one that ever fit me like a glove (I still need to ride in it of course). It took me 6 years to figure out that I'm a blend of round in the back/intermediate in the front. I literally have an egg head. I just dropped almsot $900 on a cool Arai helmet that I kind of regret now. Oh well. I just wish AGV stuck with the egg head fit on some of their more premium helmets.
Glad you found a solid fitment. FWIW - most Arai's do have removable foam to adjust the interior fitment of the top liner if that helps with your $900 purchase as well.
YIKES 😬
Really nice job 👍
will you guys ship the bike to the asia 😣😣
What's the difference in the drivers weight since we c used t bigger guy on the sport tourers the first 2 tests
